.NPC Online Banking File (obsolete) Few previous QuickBooks versions use this online banking format. No financial institution supports this file now. Only OFX supersedes this file.
.QBA Accountant’s review copy (working copy) When .QBX file is restored by the accountant, it gets the file extension .QBA.
.QBA.TLG Transaction log file (for accountant’s review copy) When Accountant’s Review Copy is backed up by you, a log of the transactions has been started by QuickBooks. In case, the user reports any accidental loss of the data, you will get the most recent back from the QuickBooks Technical Support Team.
.QBB QuickBooks backup file QuickBooks company backup file. To open a .QBB file, go to the File menu and click Restore.
.QBI QuickBooks image file The transactions that have already been written are held in the Image file till the time they are posted and shifted to the hard drive.

All the changes in the Data File are kept in this while this file is open in QuickBooks. Once the company file is closed, QuickBooks will automatically delete the .QBI File. Archive Copy XX/XX/200X ABC.QBW Archive copy of data file When a data file is condensed, a separate QBW file is created using the name Archive Copy

Once the data file is condensed, a separate .QBW file is createdwhich follows the QBW file and XX/XX/200X. This file is always taken as an exact copy of the Data File. It is used to keep the information, that, at the time of condense process was not used. A backup copy of the file is used to create it.

CONNLOG.TXT Connection Log file It contains a log file for QuickBooks online that contains all online banking connection.
DownloadQBXX folder Download folder The QuickBooks create this folder and all the updates are store in this when Update function is used in QuickBooks.
Images Folder Images folder It is a folder that stores temporary copies of the images that QuickBooks uses.
